OVERVIEW
You have 48 months to complete the CPC31211 Apprenticeship. Training and assessment is paperless which means that there is no paper based assessments.
You can upload photographs of work that you are doing or have completed which becomes part of your log book and workplace activities. You can leave video responses where you are asked to demonstrate knowledge and skills such as communication.
Your employer can also monitor your progress and there are progress reports which can be sent to the employer. When you log into your profile, the time and date is recorded, this shows us that you have been active in your training.
COURSE OUTLINE
There are 22 core units and 8 elective units to complete. Each unit is broken down into several sections with computer and trainer marked questions and activities.
The learning resources are interactive in that, they are presented in video and audio form.
When you complete a set of trainer marked questions, it is automatically submitted for marking.
Your trainer can give you feedback such as whether the response submitted is correct or incorrect.
The trainer has the option of leaving a written or video response.
WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR
This course is ideal for school based, new workers and existing workers in the construction industry.
A new worker is someone who has little or no prior experience in the construction industry, however chooses to do an apprenticeship.
An existing worker is someone who has prior knowledge and skills in the construction industry and has been working with the same employer for 3 months or longer.
COURSE COSTS
Apprentices are expected to pay a contribution fee towards their study. A course fee schedule is available on the Staysafe website course page and is also available in your student profile. The fees have been estimated at 1625.00. A deposit at enrolment is required with the balance of the fees owing and can be paid at a later date.
School based apprentices are not required to pay the student contribution fee.

Language and Literacy In order to successfully complete this course, you need to have a certain level of language and literacy skills.
